FLYING BY SHEILA COWLEY takes place just after WWII. The women who have served as WASPS in the war now find themselves marginalized by the eminent return of the men coming back from WWII. Bonded by their shared experiences and secrets the women let us in to discover their most deeply protected feeling and fears. This amazing show is masterfully Directed by Theron La Fountain and will take place in an actual airplane hanger complete with WWII planes therein. Keep checking our website for more information. MEET THE CAST:
Avery Martinez is a Journalist and new to Moon Theatre. He is playing Fisher, a soldier trying to find a new life after the ravages of war. Earl Fahsbaugh is also new to Moon Theatre and will be playing Doc, Susan’s Father. ElizabelRiggs plays Susan a women haunted by her and holding on to a life where women are in the pilot’s seat. Soleil Kohl plays Lucy, a women ready to make her mark on the world if only given the chance Kim Bubon, a Moon Theatre favorite plays Laura, a debutante unshaken by the ways of the 1940’s chauvinistic reality.Theron is the wonderful director who brought this play to Moon Theatre and has acted and directed with this company many,many times. .
