Moon Theatre Company will be holding auditions for their March 2018 production “THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE”.
Auditions will be held at the ReMax Town & Country office located at 340 Mountain Avenue in Berthoud on January 19 6:30pm – 8:30pm and January 20 2:00pm – 4:00pm
The performances will be at the Rialto Theater in Loveland CO. Rehearsals will be in Berthoud CO.
The show will run March 23 at 7:30 PM, March 24th at 2:00PM and 7:30 PM, and March 25th at 2:00PM. Rehearsals will start the week of January 22, 2018 and run 3 nights a week from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
Roles available are:
Narrator-Man or Woman- 60 plus
Jim, “The Reverend “ Mosten-20-30. Jim is a young, black man. He is kind, enthusiastic and well mannered, full of energy and easy to fall in love with. He has a “little brother” type of relationship with Hallie, the Saloon owner.
Liberty Valance-20-50-Liberty is a Southern Gentleman, but his polite manner doesn’t disguise the scars on his face. He is terrifyingly unpredictable.
Marshall Johnson-40-70- The Marshall talks the talk but when it comes right down to it he is a coward.
Jake Dowitt- 25-50- Jake is an enthusiastic reporter for a small local newspaper.
Deputy- 20-50- The Marshall’s side kick.
The Gang- a few of Liberty’s boys.

Please bring a resume and prepare to do some cold readings. Cuttings will be provided at the audition.
